Wir haben früher Ce (+ andere Lanthaniden) in Gußeisen bestimmt und zwar mit 8-Hydroxychinolin, Extraktion des Komplexes mit Chloroform und photometrischer Bestimmung.
Es ist wie zu erwarten keine "schöne" Methode, auch wenn sie recht brauchbare Resultate geliefert hat.
Ich nehme an das diese Methode auch Gd funktioniert, nachdem das Ce auch als Ce3+ bestimmt wurde.
Bei Interesse werde ich die Arbeitsvorschrift wieder "ausgraben"
