Wellcome Trust Pledge to combat public health crisis
John Wiley& Sons Inc. joins the Wellcome Trust and other organizations in making research freely available during public health crises, such as the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
"We are committed to decent global corporate citizenship," said Judy Versus, Wiley's executive vice president, Research. "Freeing up research to support researchers during a global health emergency is simply the only thing to do."
Wiley has identified 54 relevant studies, which includes research from the Journal of Medical Virology, Transboundary and Emerging Diseases, Zoonoses and Public Healthand many more. In addition to these articles on Wiley Online Library, the enhanced site includesa free, real-time feed of the latest research and news on novel coronavirus, powered by Scitrus, Atypon's AI-driven personalized discovery application.
These important pieces of literature will remain free until April 2020 and the window of time will be extended as needed. Wiley will continue to monitor this critical issue and new articles will be added as they publish.
