LAUDA with new divisional organization

The global thermostating specialist LAUDA is looking to advance its future growth by reorganizing its divi-sions. Since the start of the year, the four divisions of heating and cooling systems, constant temperature equip-ment, measuring instruments and the newly established OEM division have been in place at LAUDA. The fast growing OEM business shall be managed by Frank Jansing, who previously enjoyed great success heading the measuring instruments division at LAUDA. The responsibility for the measuring instruments has been taken on by Dr. Ulf Reinhardt, who recently joined the company at the start of the year. The divisions constant temperature equipment and heating and cooling systems would continue to be unter the responsibility of Rainer Hartmann and Alfred Semrau.

Frank Jansing - New managing director for the OEM business

With its own development department, the new division manager of OEM, Frank Jansing, heads an area special-ized in individual customer solutions for constant temperature equipment applications. The 44-year-old has been with LAUDA since 2006 as the manager of the then newly formed measuring instruments business unit and has since headed this unit with great success. "OEM is an important market for LAUDA. In this growth market in par-ticular, which is so vital to the future, proximity to the customer, excellent project management and promptness are indispensable," says Frank Jansing.

Before joining LAUDA, the qualified engineer for systems and process technology worked in various positions for Bayer AG and BASF Coatings AG in both Germany and China. In December 2013, he was appointed the author-ized representative of LAUDA.

Dr. Ulf Reinhardt - New managing director of the measuring instruments division

Dr. Ulf Reinhardt is the new man responsible for the measuring instruments division at LAUDA. With immediate effect, he shall be in charge of the further expansion of the division, which develops, produces and sells the vis-cometers and tensiometers. As such, he is the successor to Frank Jansing.

As an academic and through the different positions he held during his tenure in the industry to date, Dr. Ulf Rein-hardt is familiar with the challenges faced when it comes to research and production. "In regard to success, it is important that difficult measuring methods be implemented as easily as possible. This is also my development goal at LAUDA," says Reinhardt. The 47-year-old is able to call upon his knowledge from past positions in re-search, development, production management, product management and sales with the company A. KRÜSS Op-tronic GmbH and most recently as Managing Director of Walter Herzog GmbH Lauda-Königshofen.
