We are a team of 35 people, who study the degradation and metabolism of xenobiotics in plants, animals and the environment. We are looking for you as a study director, to be responsible for the planning, execution and reporting of metaboilite identification, environmental fate and plant metabolism studies under GLP requirements. In this position you will be an important contact person for our clients and your reports will support the registration of our clients' products. As a study director you are responsible for offers and contracts, study plans and the financial aspects of your studies. In addition you will have leadership responsibilities for the laboratory technicians assigned to your studies. Profile/Qualifications:
We are looking for a professional with a university degree in organic chemistry, biochemistry or food chemistry with relevant background in metabolite identification, through a PhD program or at least 3 years experience in a chemical or biological laboratory environment. You should have good knowledge of analytical chemistry, with emphasis on LC-MS (preferencially accurate mass). Experience in any field of trace analysis in soil, water, sediment and plants, experiments with 14C-labeled test items, metabolite characterisation, environmental pathway prediction, accurate mass or NMR spectra interpretation are an advantage.
